Ways Of Marketing With Your FSBO Flyer

A great way to advertise your property is to market with FSBO flyers.

If you are using a FSBO website or Flat Fee MLS listing service, sometimes flyers are included in your package or plan.

These brochures can be made quite inexpensively-you can either print them from your personal computer or have them printed at Office Max, Kinko's, etc. Tell them what you want and they can help you.

What Should The FSBO Flyer Include?

*State that this property is For Sale By Owner.

*Place your contact information along with your phone number on the flyer.

*If you have open houses planned, list the dates and times.

*If you are offering seller financing, this is definitely an advantage you want to adverise. It is a win-win situation for the seller and buyer.

*List the information a buyer would want to know. This is called the property summary.

-year built

-square footage

-number of bedrooms and bathrooms

-all desirable features such as: walk in closets, double or triple garages, storage room, sun room, over sized lot, pool, basement, screen patio, workshop.

-type of construction: stucco, brick, block,etc.

*List your price and/or monthly payment if you are offering seller financing.

*State if you will offer a commission to a buyers' real estate agent.

*Include your address- and state that you are happy to show by appointment.

Now How Do I Advertise With The FSBO Flyer I Created?

At work or church you may be in conversation with many people. Mention that your are trying to sell your house and ask if they know anyone looking to buy. Almost everyone knows of someone wanting to move... plus since they know you it is easy for them to recommend your property to someone.

Next, when you are out shopping leave a flyer with the cashier if it is a small shop. If it is a large store like Wal-Mart or Grocery store, make a flyer with tear off phone numbers at the bottom. These large stores usually have bulletin boards to tack notes up as you come in.

Finally, make sure the info tube on your For Sale Sign is full of flyers.
